Brasstown Bald is the highest point in the state of Georgia, United states. This is my second attempt at shooting the night sky from Brasstown Bald observation tower. The first attempt was when comet 45P was swinging by the Earth on the night of 10th Feb. But it was ruined by clouds and mists. I had a clear night this time, as clear as the waters of Manasarovar. The wind was fierce and cold but I had the grace of the million stars above. I was not used to such good treatment! It was awesome!!

This is a single 15 sec exposure image shot with Nikon D810, Nikkor 24mm at f2.8, ISO 6400. This is also my first post to this group.

The Milky Way over Enotah
