Before the crack of dawn, when the world is eerily silent, magic happens by the ocean. Stars were aloft and the moon’s luster spread through the island landscape in resplendent colors. I was at the beach, I was at harbor. But nothing beats the celestial view from summit of Cadillac Mountain at Acadia National Park in Maine, one of the first places to see the first rays of the sun in the US.
