This image was captured last year at Tybee Island in Savannah Georgia which is one of my favorite spot to watch the sunrise. I had been to Savannah on several occasions but never imagined the night sky would be so gorgeous near the oceanfront until last year when I was on a vacation at Tybee. I was lucky to have crystal clear skies on that day. After hours of shooting, I laid on the beach; against the soft cold sand. My mind wondered around in space confused, amused and frightened by the sight of two different infinite worlds colliding at infinity. Infinite ocean and infinite space. I felt so lost in time and space continuum. Then there was light, a bright shining milky way lane at the end of the ocean.
This is a panorama of 5 vertical images shot with Nikon D810 using Nikkor 24-70mm at 26mm. Exposure 15s at f2.8; ISO 8000. I used Lightroom photo merge to create the panorama.
